This 2026-2027 pilot program offers six reimbursement grants of up to $1,000 each. Applications are considered first come, first served, subject to eligibility, Steering Committee approval, and available funds.

What do I need to apply?

Use the "Apply for a Grant" form to submit a description of the proposed work, before photos, an itemized contractor estimate or DIY materials budget, total project cost, and the award amount requested (up to $1,000). Include contractor information, anticipated milestone dates, and any required City permits or approvals.

How often can I receive a grant?

Only one grant payment per applicant and property is allowed every two program years. An award that expires without payment does not automatically prevent reapplication in the next term.

When can I start, and what are the deadlines?

Wait for written approval before beginning work. The Steering Committee will review applications in the order they are received and will provide a response within 14 calendar days. If approved, complete work within two months of written approval. Submit reimbursement paperwork through the website within seven calendar days after the work deadline. Request approval before changing an approved project, budget, or timeline.

How do I get reimbursed?

Accepted Answer

Using the Request Reimbursement form, submit paid invoices or receipts, proof of full payment, completion photos, and a brief project summary. SPA will review the documents and arrange a short outdoor inspection before payment. Grants reimburse eligible costs you have paid; they do not provide money upfront. DIY labor, tools you keep, and costs covered by another funding source are not reimbursable.
