Block Watch
Working Together for a Safer F.Q. Story
The SPA Steering Committee coordinates F.Q. Story’s Block Watch program, working with neighbors and the Phoenix Police Department to identify safety concerns and support crime-prevention efforts throughout the neighborhood.
Through our Phoenix Block Watch Grant, SPA is able to provide residents with resources such as solar security lighting, Block Watch signage, window decals, traffic-safety materials, and other neighborhood safety equipment at no cost to participating neighbors.
We also help connect residents with Community Action Officers, share important safety information, and support projects that make our streets, alleys, and homes safer.

Block Watch materials are available free of charge to F.Q. Story residents while supplies last. Materials provided through this program are funded by our Block Watch Grant and are available only to residents within the F.Q. Story neighborhood boundaries.

What is Block Watch?
Phoenix Block Watch brings neighbors together to help prevent crime, improve safety, and build stronger connections within their community. Through the Phoenix Police Department, residents can learn how to recognize and report suspicious activity, communicate with neighbors, and work alongside local officers to help keep their neighborhood safe.
Virtual Block Watch
Home Safety Tips (2018)
Virtual Block Watch is a free Phoenix Police Department program that allows residents and businesses with security cameras to register their cameras with police. If a crime occurs nearby, investigators can contact registered participants to ask whether their footage may help. Police do not have direct access to your cameras, and participation is completely voluntary.
